With the condition of the worldwide economic climate having an effect on many individuals spending habits one of the earliest items they will often cut back on will likely be their satellite television and cable television subscriptions. Monthly subscriptions to these services usually are priced somewhere between$65-$150 a month depending on the package. In some cases the monthly fee may cost much more if a lot of premium channels are included in the bundle for instance movie and sports channels. If you watch sports on computer then you may also be subject to expensive pay-per-view costs as well.

The luxury of having satellite or cable TV available isn’t something you and your family has to miss out on. You are able to watch television on your computer for free. Provided you have high speed Internet there is computer software you can download to your computer system that can access over 3,500 TV stations from around the world over the Internet. Don’t let the smaller monitor on your computer put you off as most PCs have a television output that will enable you to hook up your computer to any large wide-screen TV set.

You can get access to thousands of stations from all over the entire world via the world wide web when using the Satellite Direct software package. You can have usage of this for just a small onetime charge for the software program that is most likely not as much as you have to pay for one month’s cable television subscription. The software requires a minute approximately to install and demands no special hardware and will give you unrestricted access to all the channels that you wish to view. Internet Media Magazine described the Satellite Direct software program as “unequivocally the best TV to PC software on the net”. While not the only satellite TV package on Computer none of the others have access to as many stations or they’ve concealed service fees which they do not let you know about.

Therefore for you to enjoy television on your computer without cost all you will need to do is pay a small one off cost and you’ll begin to get pleasure from over 3,500 channels. The software will let you view television on laptop computer or desktop PC. You will not get the annoyance you have with having to wait for the cable guy to arrive and install it for you either. You can start to watch and enjoy TV on your PC without cost within minutes of installing the software package. So why not go on and cancel your cable TV contract and spend the money which you save on this amazing software program. You’ll be ready to view television on computer without cost beginning today.

For years cable companies had no competition. If you wanted cable channels, you got service through them. It didn’t matter if they had outages. If you had a constant fuzzy picture, they might come out and service your lines, at your expense, and their time table. It didn’t matter, because you had no other choice. It was the great world of Cable Monopolies.

During the pre-Dish days, cable companies were notorious for poor customer service. They were like a DMV or government organization that had no real profit bearing consequences of customer neglect. In the early 90′s, with the invention of small Dish Satellite, that began to change. Cable companies had to adapt to competition and learn real business skills. So how has that adaptation gone? Which Cable companies have struggled the most.

Having sold against At&T, Comcast, Cox, Time Warner, Adelphia, and Charter, I found that the more expensive the cable company, and the more often the rate hikes, the more unsatisfied the customers were. In the areas I was at. Charter and Adelphia were our favorites. The only times customers were satisfied were when they had bundled high speed internet packages. What are your bad experiences with cable TV providers?

The question always arises, “Why does my Cable bill keep going up”,The answer is, because we’re willing to pay for it.When small Dish satellite hit the market a decade ago this finally created competitions for Cable TV companies that had a virtual monopoly on the television industry. This forced Cable companies to get better customer service, clearer picture quality, and innovative devises, otherwise you could now swith to Dish Network or Direct TV.If you’re sick of paying outrageous prices for cable and satellite TV, then drop their services. You don’t have to pay for TV, it’s free through the airwaves.
